Last year, some wonderful friends of ours, Ben and Margaret, moved from Nashville to Charleston, and since their move, Ben has been non-stop haggling us to move there ourselves. Since that’s not gonna happen (sorry bout it, Ben) we promised to visit and finally got it on the calendar this summer!
We spent the holiday weekend with these two and were treated with the type of hospitality that makes you feel oh-so loved and cared for. Home cooked breakfasts, the most amazing cookies I’ve ever tasted thanks to Josh, a game of Catan, yelling things at Google Home, cute/yummy macaroons, and the best conversations.
During much of our time there, the cameras were put away and that was refreshing. But if you know me, you know I HAD to break out the Canon at some point. Those old Charleston homes are too pretty not to photograph, as well as basically everything else in this city. Hope you enjoy some of my favorite shots from our time there, and that you get to visit Charleston soon! I for one can not wait to go back.
XO,
Sara-Lane
Thanks to Margaret, Stevie, and Ben for some of these snaps!
