I'm a wife, mama, and small town girl from Brighton, TN. (901 reprezent). I moved to "the big city" of Nashville in 2011 where I met Mr. Boudreaux. I love antique shopping, broadway musicals, and decorating our home in Thompson's Station, and I have never met a cat or horse that I didn't become fast friends with. The first thing I do when I get home is put on sweat pants and light a candle because not being cozy at home is just wrong. I love traveling whether that's somewhere new and fun, or simply to spend time with dear friends.
I started using disposable cameras when I was young, not knowing then that a career as a photographer was possible or even a real thing. All I knew was that I loved capturing moments and people that I loved, and that picking up those print packs from Wal*Mart with my mom felt like Christmas morning. Years later, a C minus and a miserable time in Biology 101 pushed me towards following that terrifying feeling in my gut to pursue a career as a creative.
I was born south of New Orleans, LA and grew up in the suburbs of Jackson, MS. I always said that I wanted to settle down in Nashville, and after college and a brief time working in NYC, that's just what I did. I met Sara-Lane two months after moving here, and we've continued putting down roots these past 10 years. I enjoy retouching, playing video games, and teaching Sadie the secret family gumbo recipe on game day. #geauxtigers
My love for creativity started as a kid. I wanted to be a cartoonist for Disney and drew scenes from The Lion King 24/7. I became interested in photography during college, taking classes as part of my design degree, and when I met Sara-Lane that love for it only grew. Meeting so many different kinds of people and making new friends is what I love most about shooting weddings. By the end of the night, we always feel like we're part of the family.
