Last month was crazy. Anybody else think May should be like 6 weeks instead of 4? I know I’m not the only one that had a jam-packed month, but with 2 weddings to shoot, quitting a job, getting a new job, my brother graduating, trip to Mississippi, lots of catch-up editing, (the list goes on)… I am glad it’s over. Although June has been pretty hectic too… Still! It wasn’t May. Plus, gotta praise God for the work work work, since it does in fact pay the bills bills bills.

Well, right now I’m reflecting on a sweet time I had during May. The one time that was de-stressing and relaxing and honestly just really good for my soul. I was actually sick during this time (most likely stress induced), so I can’t explain how much this checked-out-from-reality time helped. My best friend Lauren and I went down to the beach for a few days, and we had a ridiculously fun time together. It was so nice being able to hang out like normal friends, since we live apart and can’t always get together as often as we wish. Definitely some fun memories made.
