Earlier this month I took a trip to New York City, and it was a once in a lifetime trip, to say the least. I will be sharing more about my travels through photos and stories soon, but today I wanted to focus on one of the highlights.

I have always been fascinated with behind-the-scenes photos, specifically of photographers. Peeking in to their own world, their set, their dreams and watching it all unfold and come to life, it’s just pure gold. (+ It’s kind of like photography inception, taking photos of someone taking photos…) There is so much more that goes into photo shoots than anyone sees, and the glamour of the end-result image is only made possible by lots of hard work, intentionality, and perseverance.

That being said, documenting and assisting Brett during his test shoots in NYC was a lot of fun. I was happy to capture some behind-the-scenes images for him and can’t wait to see his final photos!
