who we are

Last fall, Stevie and I had the absolute pleasure of shooting Savannah and Jonathan’s proposal. It was a cold, sprinkling night made super romantic by the charm of downtown Franklin and its glowing Christmas lights. Savannah was so surprised, and we were all 3 relieved that we pulled it off. Of course, we were thrilled to continue photographing such exciting milestones for them as we shot their wedding last weekend at the Hermitage Golf Course in Nashville, TN.

In true S&J fashion, another surprise was in the works that we got to be part of – this time Savannah turning the tables and shocking Jonathan with a surprise First Look. (If you think First Looks are nerve racking, try adding it being a top secret mission to the mix.) It went off without a hitch, and seeing the look on Jonathan’s face was the best. Everything about their wedding was wonderful.

Savannah and Jonathan bring out the best in each other and both have such warm, inviting spirits. Their wedding was laid-back, family-focused, and full of laughter and shameless dance moves. Totally our kind of wedding. We are so happy for Mr. and Mrs. Wright and are praying for more laughter, joy, and sweet milestones for them in the years to come.
