I can’t think of a better family to have our first Fresh48 session with than Em and Phil and baby Colton! I have known Emily (aka Em) since basically forever. From carpooling in kindergarten to college roomies, she has been a forever friend. We may not see each other much these days, but we can always pick up where we left off. And we’ve been there for one another since childhood.

I was so freaking excited when she asked if we would photograph them and their new baby at the hospital. With the 2.5 hour distance and the unpredictability of labor, we weren’t 100% sure the timing would work out, but thank the Lord it did. Because I really didn’t want to miss capturing these first precious moments for them.

I have loved watching baby Colton grow so much over these short couple months since this day. I’ve been blessed watching God work in their lives, and I’m so happy for this family!
