A few weeks ago, I had the chance to do a session with Deena and Michael, some dear friends to me and Stevie, and today I am super excited to share images from the shoot! We became friends with these two when they moved here from Texas and got plugged into our church small group through close friends. We’ve been so blessed to get to know them the past year, and I can honestly say they’re some of my favorite peeps. Not only are they beautiful and insanely photogenic, they are just as amazing on the inside too. So sweet and genuine and just plain awesome. Plus, they were willing to do whatever I asked of them during our session (and Deena was feeling under the weather at the time too…but you’d never know it by looking!) They’re coming up on their anniversary – 6 years of marriage! chyea! – and I hope these images can be a sweet reminder to them of the crazy, wonderful love that brought (& keeps) them together.

Thanks to Deena & Michael for letting me shoot them and for being such dang good models. & A huge thanks to Stevie too. He assisted me with lighting the entire shoot and even took some of these images while I did lighting. I think we’re a pretty good team 😉
